Center with latest scientific instruments
to carry out development activities in the field of insulation
materials.
Some of the basic research equipments include thermal
conductivity apparatus, compressive strength equipment, furnace
for heat resistance, etc. The laboratory has qualified scientist, chemists &
skilled technicians.
The basic objectives are:
To carry out R&D activities in the field of chemicals
with a focus on Calcium Silicate Insulation and other Calcium
silicate Products.
To develop an economical and quality product to address
the needs of thermal energy conservation in the Industry.
To carry out work in the field of chemicals with a view
to develop export substitution products and thereby save the
country valuable foreign exchange.
To develop products for export and earn valuable foreign
exchange for the country.
To develop other fine chemicals such as Synthetic Calcium
Silicate and Magnesium Carbonate using new and efficient technologies.
